ISO 9001

In recognition of the growth prospects, the Board authorised the establishment of the Quality Management System (QMS) in "Silutes baldai" in accordance with the international ISO 9001 standards in 1997.  In 1998 the system was audited by the German agency "TÜV Thüringen", which concluded that the existing QMS conforms to the above-mentioned international standards.

QMS is analyzed and audited twice a year during the internal Quality audits.  Quality days are held in "Silutes baldai" every month during which the Quality audit results are analyzed, customer complaints are dealt with; other problems related to the quality of production are tackled.   The establishment of the QMS in accordance with ISO 9001 standards was a major step which has brought the company closer to its customers, improved overall performance, and made it possible to increase the competitiveness of the product and the company itself both in the local and Western markets. 

ISO 14001

Having the goal to be the leaders in the kitchen furniture market while producing only high-quality product which would satisfy the most various our customer‘s needs, and also striving to expand furniture production for the foreign market, we take the responsibility for the environment protection.

This is the reason why we seek to control all aspects of the company run.  We want to assure our customers that they will get not only qualified, but also environmentally-friendly product. 

We pay a lot of attention to the environmental issues related to the overall company‘s strategy.  New products, working conditions, IT and production technologies are improved continuously. 

In the year of 2001 the experts of the German Company "Thuringen" certified the Environmental Management System (EMS) in accordance with the requirements of the international standard ISO 14001. 

Seeking for proper use of natural resources and for environmentally friendly manufacturing process, we continuously work towards improving the Environmental Management System and promise to do it in the future.
